Electionertia...

Quicklist:

• Went on vacation in the wilderness, avoided black bears, not so much teh mosquitoes (Ole).
• A few of my work deals died while I was unplugged and in the wilderness.  That (the unpluggedness, not the deals dying) almost killed me.
• Had to hang out with lotsa really white people (the NE preppy kind), which annoyed me.  And my being annoyed, annoyed hubs.
• Loo started pre-k this week, my baby all grown up (*sob*) but she doesn't like her teacher so much because (quote) she makes us do homework (which consists of coloring and other crafties).  How is my pre-k sooooo lazy?
• What the hell am I going to do about schools for the girls in the long term?  We don't like the school district we are in, but with the economy going to crap, a bit afraid of making any real estate "commitments" (even those involving moving rentals).
• We gave Kali a bowl haircut. This is what she looks like now, except w/o the blond... or the cap.

• Did I mention that the economy is crapping?
• Did a phone interview with Congresswoman Maloney for MOMocrats.  Soooo cool!
• But other than that, feeling severe electionertia.  Hate everything and everyone.  Even Paris.
• Since I've already drank (drunk) the Obama Kool-Aid, is there one to help me get over my electionertia?

Hahaha, Obama Kool-Aid. Did you know that Kool-Aid hates that people use that expression? Apparently Jim Jones's followers drank Flavoraid, a "cheap imitation" (according to the makers of Kool-Aid). So they hate that people use that expression.

I'm sorry your deals died. But I'm glad you got away from civilization. That's more important!
