• Stuff (White)Mommy Bloggers like.  Awesome.
• Loo is trying (not very successfully) to wipe her own butt.  Also, although she still needs help to get on the toilet, she now says, "don't look at me mommy" while she's doin' her bizness.  I find this hillarious.  Heh heh...
• Kali has a invented a new game of tickle mommy.  I pick her up, she tickles my neck, and I laugh dramatically.  This game kills her.
• I finally finised the last chapter of Collapse last night.  The historical was good, the suggestions/solutions less useful/elegant.
• I'm so over mortgage backed securities... my new thing is credit default swaps.  ADHD much?
• Still don't understand MBSs and CDSs?  Try this interview by Terry Gross on NPR.
• I'm 94% sure I'm not voting for McCain (chief economic advisor Phil Gramm: -6000), but this is hillarious (courtesy MetroDad)

• Speaking of new seasons, I believe that new epis of all my faves (Grey's, House, SVU)are on their way back shortly.  (OMG, I'm so sick of network reality TV, but I'm happy to say that I've converted two of my work colleagues into Top Chef addicts.)  Soooo excited.
• I'm such a friggin tax and mortgage dummy.  So far I've learned: the difference between a mortgage and a HELOC, that deductions are available on first and second homes, how deductions work mathematically (the amount you actually save is your bracket percentage * the deductible amount = not so much really), and that J and I are looking at about a 6% interest on a 15 year fixed.

THAT IS SO FUNNY - LN does the same thing when she's on the potty. "I don't want you to look at me! I want PRIVACY!" few seconds later... "Can you help me pull these up?" And guess who empties the potty... yep, I do.
